Effingham County Jail Bookings – February 8. 2017:
- 31-year-old Toby L. DePoister, of Beecher City, was arrested by the Altamont Police Department and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
- 38-year-old Felicia L. Case, of Joliet, IL, was arrestted by the Altamont Police Department and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Deliver/Possession with Intent to Deliver.
- 34-year-old Constance Dial Eaton, of Charleston, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Coles County warrant for Failure to Appear on Unlawful possession of Controlled Substance, and a Bond County warrant for Violation Order of Probation /Possession of Methamphetamine Contraband in a Penal Institution.
- 41-year-old Caroline A. Minard, of Mattoon, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff”s Department on an Effingham County warrant for Failure to Pay on Criminal Trespass to Property.
- 47-year-old Troyt Aaron Cox, of Effingham, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department and charged with Driving While Licence Revoked. Bond of $150 was posted.
- 38-year-old Heather Sunshine Pipkins , of Effingham, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County Attachment for Contempt/Failure to Appear.
- 48-year-old William Charles Fultz, of Effingham, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on a Shelby County Warrant for Failure to Appear/Pay DUI Alcohol. Bond of $325 was posted.
- 47-year-old Raymond Michael Roth, of Salem, was arrested by the Effingham Police Department and charged with Retail Theft. Bond of $150 was posted.
- 43-year-old Benda M. Vansike, of Champaign, was arrested by the Effingham Police Department on a Macon County warrant for Failure to Appear on DUI. She was turned over to Macon County Authorities.

February 8, 2017:
- At 8:43 AM north of the intersection of Banker and Wabash an unknown vehicle driven by Angela R. Einhorn, 48, Wheeler. No injuries and no citations.
- At 3:45 PM at the intersection of 2nd and Market a vehicle driven by Kaitlyn M. Gurley, Effingham, slid on the ice covered roadway and struck a vehicle driven by Ronald L. Slifer, 52, Watson. No injuries and no citations.
