(Chicago, IL) — Don’t expect to see former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich in person when he is resentenced next month in Chicago. A judge ruled yesterday that the ex-politician will appear via closed-circuit television from a federal prison near Denver. The August 9th hearing was scheduled after a federal appellate court tossed out five of Blagojevich’s 18 criminal convictions. He has already served over four years of his original 14-year sentence.
