Effingham Library Presents: "Dead End: The Hunt for the I-70 Killer”
Get a behind-the-scenes look at the relentless pursuit of justice when true-crime author Bob Cyphers presents “Dead End: The Hunt for the I-70 Killer” from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library. Drawing on decades of investigative experience, the award-winning Cyphers has authored two true-crime books: “Dead End: Inside the Hunt for the I-70 Serial Killer,” a deep investigative look into one of the Midwest’s most haunting unsolved serial murders, and “25 Frozen, 1 Thawed: Murder and Mayhem in the Midwest,” a chilling exploration of cold cases in Illinois and Missouri that continue to puzzle investigators
and communities alike. Cyphers won the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for his work on the I-70 serial killer investigation. This is a free event, but registration is required.
