Doudna Fine Arts Center Performances

Bright Star presents six performances, all taking place in the Doudna Fine Arts Center Theatre. The performances will take place on Friday, February 27th at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, February 28th at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, March 1st at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 6th at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 7th at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 8th at 2:00 p.m. 

Written by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, Broadway’s Bright Star performance is a captivating show inspired by a true story. The tale of love and redemption walks through a time in literary editor Alice Murphy’s life when she meets a young soldier and is ultimately haunted by their unique connection. The performance, set in the 1920’s and 40’s, will unveil her plans of understanding her past.
