Little Book Beginners at Marshall Public Library
Join us for a Little Book Beginners program at Marshall Public Library for preschoolers ages 3, 4, and 5 years with a parent the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM. The program runs through April at the library, thanks to generous local funding from the Marshall Rotary Club and the Evelyn G. Knowles Foundation. At the December 18th Little Book Beginners the featured book will be Llama, Llama Red Pajama and the January 15th featured will be Best Mouse Cookie.
At each sixty-minute program, Miss Marge, a retired reading teacher, reads the children a story, teaches finger plays and songs, and leads interactive projects for the children and parents. Children receive a free book to take home at each session and an additional book if they complete a monthly reading log.
You may reserve your seat by calling the library at 217-826-2535, visiting us on Facebook or by registering online at www.marshallillibrary.com. The library is located at 612 Archer Avenue, in Marshall, Illinois, and is handicapped accessible.
