Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Congresswoman Mary Miller is set to join EJ Water Cooperative leaders and local officials in Beecher City, Illinois, for a press conference focused on water infrastructure investment. The event is scheduled for Monday, November 2nd.
Organizers say the gathering will highlight efforts tied to improving water systems and supporting long-term service needs in the region. The appearance brings federal, local, and cooperative leadership together around rural water access and infrastructure planning.
The EPA previously announced millions in statewide funding under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act) through Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds.
