Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Salmonella infections linked to eating certain kinds of jalapeno peppers is now at over 430 cases across 32 states. That includes 57 hospitalizations but no reported deaths so far.
The CDC estimates the number could be higher as many may be recovering from the infections without receiving medical care.
