Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms across portions of central Illinois during the afternoon and evening hours.
The threat for storms will settle south of I-72 during the late evening and overnight hours. A more active weather pattern will be in place through the end of the week into the weekend with chances for showers and thunderstorms today through Saturday.
Make sure to be weather aware and prepare accordingly. We will keep you updated if the storms turn severe.
