Born on December 27, 1948, in Vandalia, Illinois, the daughter of Lester and Iris (Cole) Logue. Sue lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a warm spirit that touched those around her. She had married Frederick Hall on December 28, 1964, and then he preceded her in death on June 25, 1975. She later married David Bishop on June 2, 1990, and he then also preceded her in death on December 18, 2018. Throughout her life, Sue held many jobs, culminating in her final role as a home health care giver, a position she embraced with compassion and commitment. Her career was a testament to her caring nature and willingness to serve others, qualities that defined much of her life’s journey. Sue was an active member of the Open Arms Fellowship Church in Salem, where she found community and fellowship. Her church family valued her presence and the steady faith she brought into their lives. Outside of her professional and spiritual commitments, Sue took great pleasure in working on old houses. She enjoyed the challenge and creativity involved in remodeling and decorating these homes, bringing renewed life and character to each project. Above all, her greatest joys were her grandchildren and her beloved fur babies, with whom she shared countless loving moments.
Sue is survived by her husband Herbert Wayne Hall of St. Elmo, Illinois; 2 sons Donald Wayne (Donna) Hall of Kinmundy and Jason Lee (Amy) Hall of Kinmundy; 9 grandchildren Devin Hall, Danielle Charlton, Deidre Tipsword, Dawson Hall, Brittany King, Kaity Hall, Brody Hall, Alyssa Hall and Olivia Hall; 16 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law Judy Logue of Kinmundy and Charlotte VanWinkle of Indiana and a special cousin Delores Osterholz.
