Christie Yingst, 64, of Bunker, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026, at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at the Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, Illinois with visitation one hour prior to the start of service. Brenda Byers will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Burial will take place at a later date.
She was born July 11, 1961, the daughter of Rudy Heckard and Gertrude (Sales) Heckard. She married David Yingst on November 11, 1999, in Clay County Illinois. She enjoyed horseback riding, going to auctions, camping, and being around her family and friends.
She is survived her sons, David Yingst (Allie) of Gillette, Wyoming, Shawn Ryan of Louisville, Timothy Yingst of Oklahoma, Cecil Keyser and spouse of Kansas, Chris Keyser and Spouse of Kansas; daughters, Bonnie Fender (Wayne) of Jacksonville, Alabama, Jennie Yingst (Mike Shock) of Noble, Alisha Rosas (Jorge) of Wichita, Kansas, Ashley Storck (fiancée, Troy Burgess) of Edgewood, and Yuki-onna Yingst, Dayenaira Yingst, and Kaori Yingst of Bunker, Missouri, Brothers; Christopher Lee Heckard (Phyllis Wood) of Canton, Kansas, Larry Vance Heckard of Edgewood, Illinois, Rudy Allen ( wife, Cheryl) of Royal Oak, Maryland, multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Yinst, parents; Rudy and Gertrude Heckard, brother; Donald Mark Heckard.
