Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Ford Motor Company is recalling 254-thousand vehicles due to a software issue. The recall is for 2022-to-2025 Lincoln Navigator, 2024-to-2025 Lincoln Nautilus, 2025 Lincoln Aviator, and 2025 Ford Explorer vehicles.
The problem is with a component that interprets video captured by the vehicle that can unexpectedly reset and cause the loss of the rearview camera and disrupt driver-assistance features. Those include lane-keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, and pre-collision assist.
