Extreme Cold Expected Tonight, Warmup By Mid-Week

Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- After a round of severe weather and a quick freeze, the temperatures will bottom out tonight.

Wind chills of 5-10 below zero are expected tonight. However, much warmer weather returns later this week, with highs in the 60s by Thursday.

Temps will be hovering around mid-60s through the weekend.
