Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Chamber announces that Subway, located at 404 S. Henrietta Street in Effingham, is a new member of the Chamber.
The Wallace family opened this location, their flagship store, on January 1, 1989. Born and raised in Effingham, the family has deep roots in the community and has owned several local businesses and properties over the years, including a bar and hotel. This Subway location marked their first venture into franchise ownership and continues to be a longstanding part of Effingham’s local business landscape.
Locally operated and part of one of the world’s most recognized quick-service restaurant brands, Subway continues to serve the Effingham community with freshly prepared sandwiches, wraps, salads, and breakfast options. Known for its customizable menu and convenient ordering options, the restaurant offers dine-in, takeout, curbside pickup, and online ordering to accommodate busy schedules.
As a Chamber member, Subway looks forward to strengthening its connection with the local business community and continuing to serve residents, employees, and travelers passing through the area.
“Businesses like Subway play an important role in supporting both our workforce and visitors to Effingham,” said Katie Koester, President & CEO of the Effingham County Chamber. “We value their investment in our community and their commitment to serving local customers.”
