
Louisville, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The North Clay Community Unit School District #25 Board convened Wednesday evening, with all members present except Anthony Dawkins.
Unanimously, the board approved meeting minutes, financial reports, updated policies, and the purchase of a new driver’s education car. Recognition was given to standout achievements, including spelling bee winners, Jr. Deputies, athletic milestones, and FFA members advancing in public speaking contests. Facility upgrades were discussed, with plans for building improvements and an electrical upgrade for the industrial arts shop approved.
The board also endorsed a new Strength and Conditioning summer program. In staffing news, several coaching resignations and hires were confirmed.
- Accept the letter of resignation of Neal Conard as Head High School Bass Fishing Coach, effective immediately. Approved 6-0
- Hire Andrew Conrad as Head High School Bass Fishing Coach for the 25-26 school year. Approved 6-0
- Accept the letter of resignation of Amanda Bailey as head high school Track and Field Coach, effective immediately, and retain as a volunteer coach. Approved 6-0
- Approve Gavin Hosselton as a high school boys basketball volunteer coach for the 25-26 school year. Approved 6-0
- Approve Malorie Craig as High School Volleyball Head Coach for the 26-27 school year. Approved 6-0
- Hire Dustin Smith as high school track and field head coach for the 25-26 school year. Approved 6-0
