Beecher City, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A vehicle crashed into a building at Beecher City Park Wednesday afternoon.
The collision occurred at 3:24pm, when a 16-year-old resident of Beecher City was driving southbound on Charles Street. As the car made a left turn onto Park Road, it veered off the roadway and hit the building.
According to the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office, the car suffered moderate front-end damage. The driver, despite the impact, declined medical treatment on the scene. Officials have not reported any other injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation by local authorities.
