Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham banking team at First National Bank of Waterloo recently dropped off a check at the Effingham Police Department to support the 2026 Shop-With-A-Cop Program.
This is the thirty-third year for the program as coordinated by the Effingham Police Department. Estimates indicate over one thousand kids have been affected by the effort over the years. Ninety children were accommodated this past Christmas season.
First National Bank of Waterloo Market President Jeff Bloemker commented, “This is a great holiday tradition in the Effingham community and we’re honored to offer support. We know the connection between Effingham youth and local law enforcement is critical.”
