Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- More than 60-thousand pounds of chicken products were recalled nationwide over a misbranding and undeclared allergen issue. Georgia-based company Suzanna’s Kitchen notified the USDA’s Food and Safety Inspection Service that it hadn’t identified a chicken product containing soy, which had been mislabeled with a non-allergen containing product code.
The recall includes eight-piece cut, bone-in breaded chicken portions produced on October 16th, 2025. FSIS said it hadn’t received any confirmed reports of adverse reactions to consumers of the products, but advised individuals with concerns to contact their healthcare provider.
