Two Vehicle Accident With Injuries In Mound Township

Mound Township, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A collision occurred at the intersection of US Highway 40 and Route 128 in Mound Township December 5th.

Two vehicles were involved. Both drivers, 48 year old Dian A. Welch of Decatur, and 63 year old Steven K. Kopplin of Altamont, were injured, with one transported by air to Carle Hospital and the other taken to HSHS St Anthony.

A citation for failure to yield was issued to Dian.
