Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches are being recalled due to a labeling error. Mondelez Global LLC issued a recall for 70 cases of the cracker sandwiches after a mix-up where peanut butter crackers were mistakenly labeled as cheese crackers.
The recall affects products distributed in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Alabama. According to the FDA, the recall is being conducted out of an abundance of caution, and consumers with peanut allergies are advised to discard the affected products.
