
Mattoon, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Lake Land College Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honors Society is hosting a “Paint and Sip” fundraiser event on Friday, Nov. 21 to support Lake Land PTK students. The event will be held from 6-7 p.m. on campus in Webb Hall room 081.
Individuals of all ages throughout the Lake Land College community are welcome at this family-friendly event, which will include snacks, refreshments and an interactive painting activity led by Early Child Education Instructor Tanille Ulm. All attendees will have the opportunity to complete their own painting to take home from the event.
Tickets to attend the event are $40 and include all snacks, refreshments, supplies and painting guidance from Ulm. Tickets are available to purchase on campus from PTK students or by contacting ptk@lakelandcollege.edu.
All proceeds from the event will be used to support Lake Land PTK students, helping to fund scholarships, leadership development opportunities and more. The proceeds will also go toward this year’s PTK College project, and annual initiative PTK students complete to leave a lasting impact on the College community. This year, PTK students are working to restore the Lake Land archives in preparation for the College’s upcoming 60th anniversary.
