Judith Ann “Judy” Tolbert, age 86, formerly of Olney, Illinois, passed away at 1:48 AM – Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Woodland Terrace in Danville, Indiana.
Private family services will be held with the burial in the Dundas Cemetery in Dundas, Illinois. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois.
Judith Ann, better known to her family and friends as “Judy” was born on May 14, 1939, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of John W. and Irene (Fristchle) Hendershott. She married Arthur Tolbert on January 1, 1984, and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2025.
Judy enjoyed gardening and doing landscaping. She was an excellent cook and loved family gatherings. Judy attended area churches and assisted in teaching Sunday school.
Judy is survived by her Daughters – Cathy (Vince) Ochs of Vandalia, Illinois and Becky (Kevin) Hahn of Danville, Indiana, Stepdaughters – Kathy (Brad) Beaubout, Becki (Brian) Redman and Vicki Tolbert, Grandchildren – Emily (Ben) Kilborn, Brandon (Bostyn) Hahn, Katie (Curtis) Ireland, and Ryan (Kayla) Ochs, Step Grandchildren – Blake, Bree, and Jordan, Great Grandchildren – Owen, Corben, and Collin Ochs; Elliot and Miles Ireland; Indy and Birdy Kilborn and Tatum Hahn and 3 Step Great Grandchildren
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
