Teutopolis Township, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A Teutopolis resident was injured following a crash Monday afternoon on 1600th Street, just north of Illinois Route 33.
Effingham County Sheriff’s Office reports indicate that 20-year-old Kayden Zerrusen was heading south at about 4 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway, hit a culvert, flipped over, and then struck another culvert. Emergency responders from Rural Med EMS transported Zerrusen to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham. Authorities confirmed there were no citations issued in connection with the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to determine contributing factors.
