Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- More than 12-thousand packages of sugar cookies sold at Target are being recalled by the FDA. The recall was issued over concerns of wood contamination in its ten-count packages of Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies.
The FDA confirmed the cookies had been shipped to distribution centers in Connecticut, Maryland and Ohio, and sold at retail outlets in 20 states and DC. A representative for Target said customers with affected Favorite Day products can return the items with a receipt for a full refund.
