Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham School Board announced their recent personnel moves and heard from the community about a bond referendum.
The School Board heard from local residents regarding the bond issue, and most expressed their opposition to the measure. As a result of the petition that was presented that garnered 3k signatures from the community, Superintendent Andy Johnson said the Board can hold a special meeting next week rescinding the motion, or start completely over and see what other ways can be explored for new K-2nd grade facilities.
