Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- On April 25, 2025, South Central FFA proudly participated in the Illinois State Poultry and Livestock Career Development Events held at the University of Illinois in Urbana.
Competing against top chapters from across the state, members gained valuable hands-on experience in animal evaluation and agriculture skills. The event provided an excellent opportunity for South Central students to apply their classroom knowledge in a competitive, real-world setting while connecting with peers and industry professionals.
River Yingst, Maddox Robb, Eli Hiestand, Meagan Lotz, and Ryan Alwardt were all part of the livestock team. Wyatt Iler, Adam Yates, and Kiera Cowger were all part of the Poultry team.
