Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A local basketball referee has been selected as Official of the Year in Girls Basketball by the Illinois High School Association (IHSA).
Thomas M. Strohl, a Neoga resident, was selected as one of up to 22 officials to earn this honor. He will be awarded a shadow box, which will be presented at the IHSA’s Officials Conference on July 11th. It will be at 7pm at Normal (West) High School.
