Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Quaker Oats is recalling boxes of waffle and pancake mix due to concerns of undeclared milk in the packaging. The recall includes a limited number of two-pound boxes of Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix.
The FDA says those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled product. The boxes were distributed in eleven states, including Arkansas, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota and Utah. The FDA says no allergic reactions have been reported.
