Illinoisans Should Be Wary Of Scams On Black Friday

Springfield, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Illinois Attorney General’s office is cautioning residents to be wary of scams as they tackle Black Friday.

The warning applies to online scams in particular. The attorney general’s office warns people to watch out for so-called “buy now-pay later” plans. Online loans are another possible source for scams. Illinoisans are urged to check out the attorney general’s website for advice and guidance on avoiding scams.
