Macon County, IL-(Effingham Radio)- An African wild cat that was on the loose in Decatur is in custody.
The Macon County Animal Control and Care Center says a Serval was captured Saturday between Forsyth and Maroa. The serval has been on the loose since last month. It will remain in the custody of Animal Control while legal issues regarding it’s possession are addressed.
The animal won’t be euthanized.
