Ex-IDNR Employee Pleads Guilty To Official Misconduct

Chicago, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A former Illinois Department of Natural Resources employee is pleading guilty to official misconduct based.

James Mayes entered the guilty plea Friday after being accused of exposing himself to a fellow female IDNR employee. Mayes was sentenced by a Franklin County Circuit Court Judge to 30 months of probation. He will be required to undergo a sex offender evaluation and any recommended treatment.
