
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A chill is in the air, and it’s not only because its spooky season.
A cold start to the work week is in store, but gradual improvement in temperatures are expected heading into the upcoming weekend. Late Tuesday morning through much of the afternoon, some snow may fall. Gusty northwest winds Tuesday afternoon and evening will also result in unseasonably cold wind chills in the upper teens to low 20s.
It’s looking like it will be quite cold for the trick-or-treaters! With temperatures in the low 30s and winds gusting over 30 mph during the late afternoon and early evening, wind chills will be in the upper teens to mid 20s. Later Tuesday night, wind chills will fall further into the mid teens as temperatures fall into the 20s.
