Springfield, IL-(Vandalia Radio)- A new state law will make it easier for students to pursue activities like 4-H and the Future Farmers of America. Instead of being considered absent, students attending work-based learning events will have time count towards the school day.
State Senator Doris Turn sponsored the bill.
It will be up to students to make up any missed school work.
