Louisville, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The following was released on the Clay County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook Page:

On June 13, 2023 North Clay Firefighter Weston Kemmerer was honored at North Clay Fire Department for administering life saving techniques. Weston received the Citizen Life Saving Award for from Sheriff Andy Myers his role in assisting Deputy Luke Durre and Deputy Trevin Smith in pulling a man from a burning car on March 13, 2023.
