Altamont Board of Education Makes Personnel Moves

Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Altamont Board of Education met on Monday, March 13th at 7:00pm.

The following action was taken at the meeting:

• Recognized Guests- Art Teacher Toni Niebrugge and Isabella Yagow discuss Ballard Art Contest and Isabella’s recent win. Lori Grimsley discusses the ERATE grant she wrote which is providing 350 new Chromebook devices for AGS! Parent Wes Bell presented an idea to the board to open an online apparel store for community members to purchase items to be ran by students.
• Consent Agenda: Board Minutes from February’s regular board meeting, February work weekend meeting and monthly District Financial Reports. There were two FOIA requests this month.
