Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Supreme Council of the Knights of Columbus sponsors a “Food for Families” program to help food banks, soup kitchens, etc. The Effingham Knights of Columbus has decided to participate in this program by helping out the food pantry at Catholic Charities.
Council 665 has made a donation of $500 worth of ground beef, with the help of Nuxoll Food Center, that will help Catholic Charities assist the families that they serve in our area.
Past Grand Knight Bob Utz (pictured on the right) made the donation to Hank Mitchell, the Food Pantry Manager at Catholic Charities.
