Effingham City Police is reporting a gas leak at Raney Street and Niccum Avenue. Crews are on scene trying to resolve the issue.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible, and to exercise caution if you must travel through the area.
There is no timetable on when the leak will be fixed. If you have any questions, call the Effingham Police Department at 217-347-0774.
