Woodridge, IL -(Effingham Radio)- A family is mourning the death of an unborn baby boy whose mother was injured when a tornado hit just outside of Chicago earlier this week.
Katie Wilson was hurt Sunday night when an EF3 tornado drove a tree through the roof of their Woodridge, Illinois home. Wilson was seven months pregnant at the time of the incident. She was hospitalized with serious injuries, which led to the death of her unborn child.
A GoFundMe campaign is raising money for both Wilson’s medical expenses and the funeral costs for her baby.
