WHAT:
- Two Unit Fatal Traffic Crash
WHERE:
- US 50 at Frontage Road (west of Clay City), Clay County
WHEN:
- Oct. 28, 2020 at approximately 1:20 PM
VEHICLES:
- Unit 1 – Blue 2010 Toyota Scion XB
- Unit 2 – White 2005 International Semi-Truck
DRIVERS:
- Unit 1 – Jennifer Joyce Black 35, Evansville IN (Deceased)
- Unit 2 – Gary E. Mugrage 63, Cisne IL
CHARGES:
- N/A
PRELIMINARY:
- Preliminary investigative details indicate the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling westbound on US 50. Unit 2 was traveling Eastbound on US 50. For unknown reasons, Unit 1 traveled into the lane of Unit 2, subsequently striking Unit 2 in a head-on collision at the above location. The driver of Unit 1 succumbed to injuries sustained from the crash.
