Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Illinois COVID-19 case numbers continue to increase.
State health officials announced over 14-hundred new confirmed cases of the virus yesterday, with the total number nearing 170-thousand.
Officials also reported 12 new deaths from the virus, for a total of almost 74-hundred.
The positivitey rate for the state for the last week was three-point-six.
