Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The City of Effingham would like to congratulate Josh Perkins, IT Specialist, on being awarded Employee of the Quarter as a part of the City’s Employee Recognition Program. The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who demonstrated either distinguished or extraordinary service during the fiscal quarter or other accomplishments that typically go unnoticed but are worthy of recognition.
Perkins was nominated because he went above and beyond to help the city prepare to work remotely during the pandemic, allowing us to function safely as a City. This work was more than tedious and required to be done in a very short amount of time. It required a lot of research on his part and was a lifesaver for the functioning of the City of Effingham.
Perkins has become a real asset for the City. His work ethic and knowledge of the position has been beyond valuable, especially in these times.
