Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The pandemic seems to be building up a big demand for Americans to celebrate something. With the Fourth of July coming up, they’ve already started.
One supplier says sales of fireworks are up 200-percent over this time last year. It’s not the only thing up, as Chicago police say they have already lodged more than seven thousand complaints over fireworks this year. There were less than a thousand at the same point last year. Even in New York, where fireworks are illegal, there have been more than 12-hundred complaints made.
