IDPH Announces 595 New Cases Of COVID-19

Springfield, IL -(Vandalia Radio)- The Illinois Department of Public Health today announces 595 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and also an additional 77 deaths.

There were a total of 24,774 tests in the past 24 hours-which means the one day positivity rate was 2.4%.

Overall, the preliminary 7 day statewide positivity rate for cases for the period from June 5th thru 11th is 4%.
