Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is issuing a disaster proclamation in numerous counties as they battle severe flooding.
The announcement comes as part of the governor’s coronavirus briefing in Springfield. Pritzker says he deployed 60 members of the state National Guard to help local authorities and residents in those communities. New protocols will be in place due to coronavirus, which include testing guards and issuing them personal protective equipment.
