
Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- At approximately 8:00 am on today’s date an autopsy was performed on Kimberly Mattingly at the McLean County Coroner’s Office in Bloomington, Illinois. Kimberly Mattingly was found deceased in rural Beecher City on April 29, 2020.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Kimberly Mattingly died as a result of multiple gunshots wounds. Toxicology reports are pending.
Kimberly Mattingly’s was last heard from on April 5th and the family reported her missing on April 8, 2020. She was last seen in Effingham County.
Two individuals, Christopher Glass of Mason, Illinois and Aaron Kaiser of Beecher City, Illinois are in custody at the Effingham County Jail relating to this homicide.
The continuing investigation is being handled by the following agencies: Effingham County Coroner’s Office, Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation, ISP Crime Scene Services, Shelby County Sheriff’s Department, Paris Police Department, Edgar County Sheriff’s Department, Terre Haute Police Department, Indiana State Police and the Effingham County and Edgar County State’s Attorney Office.
