Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- A newly announced modification and extension of the Illinois stay-at-home order includes a requirement to wear face coverings in public.
Those who are over the age of two and are medically able will be required to wear a face-covering or mask when in public starting May 1st.
The new regulation applied to any public indoor space where social distancing can’t be maintained, such as stores.
