Effingham, Il (Via Mattoon, Il) – Matton Police Department released the following statement after the arrest of Jonathan W. Stine, 49, of Mattoon.
Stine is facing charges for Possession of Child Pornography.
The arrest occurred on 01/05/18 at 2:40pm in the 4000 block of Dewitt Ave in Mattoon.
The charge alleges Mr. Stine utilized computers to gather and share pornographic images of children over the internet.
The Mattoon Police also served a search warrant on Mr. Stine’s residence, which resulted in seizing numerous electronic devices, which will be subject to further electronic examinations.
Mr. Stine was taken to the Coles County Jail
