Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- We have a chance for severe weather over the next couple days.
Severe thunderstorms are possible both today and Friday. Periods of showers and thunderstorms are expected through Saturday, with cooler and drier weather making a return Sunday into early next week
Strong south winds will gust 40 to 50 mph from late morning through early evening. This could cause difficult travel for high profile vehicles and blow around any unsecured, lightweight objects.
Stay weather aware today and tomorrow, and be sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings.
