Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Various peeled garlic products have been recalled by the Food and Drug Administration. On Friday Tops Friendly Markets issued a recall for Garland Fresh Peeled Garlic due to improper cooling during transport.
Customers are advised to return the peeled garlic with proof of purchase for a full refund. The chain warned in the recall announcement that eating the recalled garlic may cause health problems or death. Earlier this week, Tops also recalled Christopher Ranch peeled garlic due to improper storage.
