
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The pain at the pump continues today as prices keep climbing.
Triple-A puts the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded at three-dollars and 98-cents a gallon. Flashback to a month ago, just before the start of the war in Iran, and the national average was two-97 a gallon. Drivers in California are paying the most these days at five-dollars and 83-cents on average.
Gas prices in Effingham are now as high as $4.39 per gallon.
