Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham Transportation & Infrastructure Committee met on Tuesday and heard updates from Effingham County Public Transportation (ECPT), PCOM, & CSS.
ECPT reported that there is no movement yet on the Maintenance Facility Grant, as they are still waiting on IDOT. The improvements to the Government Center were approved, and the new elevator is scheduled for an inspection. The flag pole is to be installed at a later date when there is better weather. The County Building parking lot work is likely to be done in May.
PCOM and CSS each provided their monthly updates to the Committee.
The Committee also approved Ham Jam for July 17, approved the Farmer’s Market to run on Saturdays from May 30-October 31, and approved the following ECPT items:
- Resolution Authorizing Execution & Amendment of Section 5311 Grant Agreement
- Ordinance Authorizing Execution & Amendment of Section 5311 Grant Agreement
- Resolution Authorizing Execution & Amendment of DOAP Agreement
- Special Warranty
- Vehicle Lease Agreement
- Purchase of Service Agreement Between CEFS and Effingham County (cleaned up some verbiage)
The Committee also drafted an RFP for the roof of the jail, which will be released to the public soon.
